¥  Mills Reef Winery is about 10 minutes from central Tauranga
¥  For those traveling from Auckland, Moffat Road is off SH2

The Mount and Tauranga have lots of amazing places to stay and lots of fun things to do while you are in the Bay of Plenty.  If you're organised you could book a bach with a group of people or if you feel like splashing out there are some beautiful high rise apartments at the Mount with great water views.

Only 300m from the wedding venue is Bethlehem Motor Inn.  It has all the comforts you will need, and some little luxuries like a pool and spa, a tennis court and a golf net.

or have a look at these:

¥  Do you know how we got engaged?

We went for a long weekend in Wellington in 2009 and stayed at the beautiful museum hotel overlooking Te Papa museum (and skate-park of course).  On the last day of our trip I took Carmel for a surprise drive... to a private airfield.  When we arrived and Carmel saw the size (or lack of size) of the planes a few tears dropped from her eyes and she quietly said to me "are we going to do a flying lesson...I'm scared".  A great start.

I assured her everything would be okay and we weren't going to be flying any planes.  Instead we boarded a tiny four seater with red velvet interior and went for a romantic (and terrifying) flight over the beautiful Marlborough Sounds where the question was 'popped'.  The answer was yes (duh!) and we flew back to Wellington for an amazing twin massage at a health spa before we flew back to Auckland.

    Now you know!

¥  Did you know you can recycle your invitations?

    Into very useful things like...

    A coaster...

    A bookmark...

Or even transform into a modern art-piece and sell for trillions!!!
    FINALLY ITS DONE!!!

We have created a small gift registry at Briscoes for a few essentials.  As for other homewares, we couldn't decide on one store, so we thought Westfield Vouchers would be good.  You can get them at the Customer Services desk and they can be used in most of the stores in any Westfield shopping centre.

    Thank you!
